    Dr. Gaddis is a Licensed Psychologist and a Licensed School Psychologist, offering comprehensive psychological assessments and therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. He has specialized training in treating obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety-related disorders, obtained through the University of Florida’s Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (UFOCD) Program at UF Health Shands Hospital, one of the leading clinical treatment programs in the Southeastern United States.

    Dr. Gaddis earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Kentucky and completed his graduate studies at the University of Florida. While at the University of Florida, he received numerous awards, including the Norman F. Nelson Fellowship, the Fien Dissertation Award, the College of Education Alumni Endowment Scholarship, the OER Travel Award, and the SESPECS Research Travel Award. His roles included serving as a research assistant, teaching undergraduate courses, and working in the Departments of Pediatric Endocrinology, Psychiatry, Neuropsychology, and Human Growth and Organizational Studies.

    Previously, Dr. Gaddis served as the Executive Director of Health Services for Fort Worth Independent School District (ISD). During his tenure as the Director of Psychological Services at Fort Worth ISD, his department received multiple awards from the Texas Association of School Psychologists (TASP), including recognition for Outstanding Delivery of Psychological Services. Additionally, he supervised psychology interns in the Rehabilitative Care Unit (RCU) at Cook Children’s Hospital and completed his APA/APPIC internship at the Sarah A. Reed Children’s Center in Erie, Pennsylvania, where he worked with youth who had experienced significant trauma.

    Dr. Gaddis has served as an expert witness and evaluator in federal, state, and civil cases, including cases involving capital punishment. He frequently conducts fit-for-duty and work-related ADA evaluations, as well as evaluations for armed security officers. His scholarly contributions include authoring peer-reviewed research publications, serving as an editor, presenting at national conferences, and participating as an invited panelist. He also has extensive experience managing multi-million-dollar research projects and grants.

    Dr. Wilkerson is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist offering comprehensive psychological assessments and therapy for children, adolescents, and adults. She has specialized expertise in the intersection of mental health and complex medical conditions, providing targeted interventions for chronic pain, diagnosis adjustment, and medical rehabilitation. In addition to treating internalizing disorders and trauma, she provides specialized support for parents and caregivers within the family system. Dedicated to evidence-based care, Dr. Wilkerson holds specialized training in Trauma and Grief Component Therapy for Adolescents (TGCTA), Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), and Fear-Less Triple P, alongside extensive experience integrating CBT, ACT, and Solution-Focused Therapy into her clinical practice.

    Dr. Wilkerson earned her undergraduate degree from Southern Methodist University and completed her graduate studies in the APA-accredited Psy.D. program at The Chicago School in Dallas. During her academic tenure, she received numerous awards, including academic and athletic scholarships, the Dean’s Scholarship, and national recognition as an all-conference collegiate athlete and SMU Horsemanship Rider of the Year. Her early clinical and academic roles included serving in multiple leadership positions, working as a teaching assistant for intellectual assessment courses, and conducting neuropsychological evaluations at Cook Children’s Medical Center.

    Advancing her focus on pediatric and medical psychology, Dr. Wilkerson completed her APA-accredited internship at Covenant Children’s Hospital and Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Subsequently, she completed specialized fellowship training at Scottish Rite Hospital for Children. Throughout her internship and fellowship, she trained extensively across various specialty clinics, honing her clinical focus on the unique psychological needs of patients navigating complex medical environments. Her rigorous background equips her to effectively support individuals experiencing comorbid medical and mental health symptoms at the highest standard of care.     Dr. Clinkscales is a Licensed Psychologist, Licensed School Psychologist, and Nationally Certified School Psychologist offering comprehensive psychological assessments and therapeutic interventions for children, adolescents, and adults. She specializes in neurodevelopmental disorders, including autism spectrum disorder and ADHD, alongside mood disorders such as anxiety and depression. She also holds specialized training in Selective Mutism, obtained through the Thriving Minds Behavioral Health Center in Michigan. Deeply committed to culturally responsive care, Dr. Clinkscales approaches her clinical work through a multicultural lens to ensure each client’s unique background is central to effective treatment.

    Dr. Clinkscales earned her undergraduate degrees from Grand Valley State University and completed her graduate studies in School Psychology at Michigan State University. While at Michigan State, she received multiple professional development and research honors, including a Dissertation Completion Fellowship. Her academic roles included serving as a graduate, teaching, and research assistant. Additionally, she was selected for highly competitive roles, serving on a student editorial board for School Psychology Review, a National Association of School Psychologists (NASP) task force, and in leadership positions within state-level professional organizations.

    With extensive experience teaching in higher education, Dr. Clinkscales remains deeply committed to bridging clinical research and applied psychological practice. Her scholarly contributions include publishing in flagship journals and co-authoring two articles recognized with Article of the Year awards from School Psychology. She also frequently presents her research at national and international conferences, including the annual NASP convention and the International School Psychology Association (ISPA) conference.   • Leanne Hughes, MS, CCC-SLP

    Speech-Language Pathologist

    Leanne is a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with 14 years of experience evaluating and treating a wide range of communication disorders. She specializes in articulation and phonological disorders, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), neurodivergence, fluency disorders (stuttering), and language delays.

    Leanne earned her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Speech-Language Pathology from Texas Christian University. She conducts comprehensive evaluations and develops individualized treatment plans to improve speech clarity, language skills, social communication, and fluency using evidence-based strategies.

    With experience in clinical, school, and home health settings, Leanne provides direct therapy and collaborates with families to reinforce communication skills beyond sessions. She also supports individuals with ASD in developing social communication skills, interpreting nonverbal cues, and building meaningful relationships.

    Leanne is highly knowledgeable in Independent Educational Evaluations (IEEs), Full and Individual Evaluations (FIEs), and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), ensuring her assessments align with both educational and clinical best practices. She has extensive experience evaluating young children transitioning from Early Childhood Intervention (ECI) and provides recommendations to guide early intervention services.

  • Michael Steinert, MA, LPC

    Licensed Professional Counselor

    Michael is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) who specializes in psychological assessments and therapy services. With over 30 years of experience in both school and community mental health settings, he has worked as a clinician and clinical supervisor. His expertise spans substance use treatment for adolescents and adults, child and adolescent therapy, PTSD treatment for adults, community-based interventions for chronically mentally ill homeless populations, experiential therapy for children transitioning into foster care, and trauma-informed child play therapy. His areas of specialization include child and adolescent development, brief solution-focused counseling, cancer care, trauma-informed care, behavior management, and adjustment disorders. He has worked in Colorado and Texas, leading community-wide initiatives focused on integrating health systems and addressing mental health disparities.

    Michael earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of California, San Diego, where his research centered on neurodevelopmental factors in drug addiction. He completed his graduate degree in Counseling Psychology at Regis University, specializing in trauma and child play therapy. Throughout his career, he has held various positions in hospital, community, and school-based settings, including clinician, clinical director, program director, executive director, and assistant superintendent.

    Previously, Michael served as the Assistant Superintendent of Student Support Services for the Fort Worth Independent School District (ISD). As a passionate advocate for children and families, he led the development of a comprehensive continuum of mental health services that included school-based mental health professionals, school-based health centers, and community mental health providers across Tarrant County. He has also served on the boards of the Mental Health Connection of Tarrant County, Cook Children’s Save-A-Smile, Tarrant County Community Resource Coordination Group (CRCG), and the Texas Association of School-Based Health Centers (TASBHC).

    In his personal time, Michael enjoys spending time with his wife and children, traveling, running, cycling, hiking, and snow skiing. He values staying active and outdoors as a way to recharge and stay connected with nature.

  • Sarah Porter, MS, LPA

    Licensed Psychological Associate

    Sarah earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Southwestern Assemblies of God University and her Master’s of Science  in Clinical Psychology from Nelson University. As a Licensed Psychological Associate (LPA), she is dedicated to providing compassionate and evidence-based mental health care.

    She spent six months teaching English in Thailand, an experience that deepened her cultural awareness and reinforced the importance of cultural competence in psychological practice. Sarah believes that recognizing and respecting cultural differences is essential in providing effective mental health care.

    In addition to her clinical work, Sarah serves as an adjunct psychology professor, where she enjoys mentoring students and fostering a deeper understanding of psychological principles. She now offers psychological evaluations for individuals of all ages, utilizing evidence-based assessments to provide insightful and comprehensive evaluations tailored to each client’s unique needs.

    In her free time, Sarah enjoys surfing, playing soccer, drawing, and reading.

  • Ryan Hughes, MS, LPA

    Licensed School Psychologist & Licensed Psychological Associate

    Ryan serves as a Licensed Psychological Associate and has worked as a Licensed School Psychologist for over 15 years. His areas of expertise include psychological assessments, social skills training, parent training, autism, behavioral management, de-escalation training, and counseling. He also has significant experience working on large-scale projects involving systems change, significant disproportionality, and data-driven decision making.

    Ryan completed his undergraduate and graduate studies at Abilene Christian University. He has worked in multiple states rural and urban settings. Positions within his time as a school psychologist have included special education counselor, parent trainer, evaluator, behavior systems consultant, and presenter.

    Ryan enjoys spending time with his family, keeping up with the artistic endeavors of his children, concerts, cycling, and disc golf.
